Kaira is a young trainer from the Isshu region.

Kaira makes her debut later on in Pokemon crimson she journeys to Kaidi to participate in the annual Pokemon decathlon that is held in Kaidi every year, Andre allows Kaira to travel with them. In her several reccuring roles Kaira has shown a slight interest in Andre, farther down the road Kaira (after embarrassing Lyra by asking her if Andre was her boyfriend) says that: "Andre is quite a catch don't you think so?" Before she departs she leaves Andre with a egg that contains a Pokemon from the Isshu region.
